The bus ride was probably one of the most turbulent of our previous Travel. We drove through the mountains of Laos and were able to look at the impressive mountain scenery, but also scattered small villages. We were more than happy after 6 hours finally exit the bus!
Vang Vieng is a backpacker's mecca-the entire city is focused only on Traveller. The main attraction is the 'tubing'-man drifting in a truck tire down the river and the banks are lined with numerous bars with swings and trapezes to each other, where you can fly several meters into the water. Great fun, we have made it three times! Otherwise, we
have spent the time to visit caves and lagoons.
