Why Does My Stomach Hurt After Drinking Red Wine

A history of killing animals [Part 1]

There is hardly an issue, which triggers more emotions and gut feelings as the killing and eating animals.

The idea was at the beginning of animal husbandry that animals are killed to ensure the food of the people. Today this is in the traditional sense only for individual primitives, such as the Inuit of the case.
What began early in small farms, ending in huge halls with chicken or beef. In short: the whole world there are almost exclusively large-scale animal farms. This will serve just about any dealer who the goods then sold to the consumer (us). It is very interesting that over time, the price of cars, tobacco and other goods has increased many times over. The price of meat products, however, always remained constant, in some cases even fell.
The consumer always wants more meat for less money.

Even though it might be a question of taste and the affection for meat products, one can not neglect an important component. The ethics and the all-important question of whether we deal with animals must, as we do currently.

First I should first take the illusion that animals raised in large farms happy, have a nice life and then be slaughtered eventually. While this thought is a human, the reality is quite different.
To give just a little imagination, I would call you a few facts on how the animals are really treated before they end today to the slaughter.

animals are kept in the smallest room (and with little, I think that the place is usually not possible to get around) and get no food between human beings yet they see the natural sunlight. Instead, they are provided with fully automatic feeding machine and live in isolated houses (if you can call a huge warehouse housing) where the only artificial light source, is fully automatic lighting.

To get the artificially fertilized
animals, no diseases, they are fed with antibiotic, a certain portion of your still in the meat sold is available.
Most animals live only so long as it necessarily has to be, sufficient to supply meat for the butcher. In addition to the killing per se, for many organizations (including Peta ) like rotting animals or be killed in most cases, without anesthesia. Not to mention some workers who live out their perversions to the animals.

wonder addition to these facts, I am the one, why I was not so long ago still eat meat.
